WILGEHEUWEL COMMUNITY PARK

The Wilgeheuwel Community Park is part of an initiative for change and is a project focusing on encouraging community development and beautification of the lush Greenbelt open space running through Roodepoort.

 

Over the last 10 years the open space has been neglected and left to litter and mans material presence. The Greenbelt however, is a vibrant green expanse home to stunning bird life, exquisite indigenous plants and of course, the magnificent willow trees.
